The Naomi Whittel eCommerce store is built on top of Shopify Plus. They use a custom theme and have additional custom extensions to make the template fit their needs. The mega-menu dropdown header and detailed product pages are the best examples.
Shopify Shipping API
Behind the scenes, the Shopify store uses an external Shipping provider to fulfil all their shipments. However, the problem is that some of the products they sell, use multiple different Shopify shipping profiles.
This is a feature their shipping provider does not support and they reached out to Weichie.com to assist with this problem. We’ve created a Shopify app that bridges their fulfilment API with the Shopify API to ensure the customer orders using multiple shipping profiles are also fulfilled correctly.
Based on the processing of those shipping profiles in Shopify, the customers receive their notifications about status updates on their orders. Our Shipping Bridge fixes around 100 orders daily that are missed by the shipping provider.
